The Northern Territory (NT) Sports Awards is an annual event that celebrates the achievements and contributions of athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers. Managed by the Department of People, Sports and Culture, the awards provide an opportunity for the community and sector to nominate in 9 categories, including:
- Sports person of the Year
- Junior Sportsperson of the Year
- Masters Sportsperson of the Year
- Para-Athlete of the Year (NEW)
- Team of the Year
- Coach of the Year
- Official of the Year
- Volunteer of the Year
- Regional Performance of the Year (NEW)
- Local Performance of the Year
- Karen Schneider Sports Medicine Australia Safer Sport Award
If you know of anyone within our Arafura Family/Calisthenics community (Coaches, Teams, Volunteers) who are inclusive, create a vibrant and fun environment/performances within our sport be sure to give them the recognition they deserve by nominating them.
Nominations close on Friday 19 December, however the earlier the better! Award recipients will be announced at an event on Saturda 28 March 2026.
